Prior to the evening concerts in the Main Hall, Norwegian musicologist and renowned Mahler expert Morten Solvik will give an introduction to the evening's program. Morten Solvik is known for his many essays dedicated to Mahler, the monthly live stream The Mahler Hour and his involvement with the international Mahler Foundation. After an introduction by Morten Solvik, you may be listening with very different ears to Mahler’s notes you thought you knew so well!
You will need a free ticket for the Mahler Talks. Tickets are available online starting april 24th. The Talks are in English.
